Community Spirit Day 2024

First Fed has partnered with Habitat for Humanity for our first annual Community Spirit Day. On June 5, our branches will close at noon so team members can volunteer. Customer Service will still be available online or via phone at 800-800-1577.

Please sign up to join us! First 20 people (non-employees) to sign up will receive a commemorative hat on June 5 at their volunteer site.

  • Olympic Medical Center Foundation Duck Derby

    Olympic Medical Center is one of the best rural hospitals in the United States. A comprehensive health care provider with a network of regional facilities including Olympic Medical Cancer Center, Olympic Medical Center relies on the dedication of the many volunteers of the Olympic Medical Center Foundation. THE FOUNDATION HAS: Given over $10.3 million to OMC, with over $7.6 million of that coming since 2007 Provided $3.8 million to cancer care since 2006, with over $515,000 going to OMC's Patient Navigator program, which funds basic cost of living expenses for qualifying cancer patients on the North Olympic Peninsula. Given over $600,000 to the OMC Heart Center.

    On December 20, 2023, most of the Port Angeles Dream Playground was destroyed in a fire. Our community came together more quickly and enthusiastically than we ever could have imagined and we are thrilled to be able to host a community rebuild May 15 - 19. This timeline will make it possible for the playgroundt to be available for our community's kids in time for summer

  • Rhody Festival Grand Parade

    The Rhody Festival has been a local tradition for 89 years! The festival is held the third week in May. (May 15th - May 19th) The Grand Parade is held on Saturday with the festival concluding with the Rhody Run and Golf Tournament on Sunday. Come join the fun!

OUR VISION To inspire, nurture, and empower the local arts community, enrich local cultural and educational experiences, and spark economic activity throughout the region. ABOUT Field Arts & Events Hall is a private 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. The construction of Field Hall was made possible through the generous donations for Port Angeles locals Donna M. Morris, Dorothy Field, and Pat Donlin, along with corporate and individuals who value a vibrant arts community on the northern Olympic Peninsula.

  • 31st Annual Juan de Fuca Festival

    This 3-day festival is Port Angeles’ premier music event. The 31st Annual Juan de Fuca Festival will be held, as always, over Memorial Day Weekend, May 24-26, 2024.

  • North Olympic Discovery Marathon

    The North Olympic Discovery Marathon, Marathon Walk, Marathon Relay and Half Marathon take place on a unique point to point course that incorporates the beautiful Olympic Discovery Trail with stunning views of the Olympic Mountains and a five mile finishing stretch along the shores of the Strait of Juan de Fuca. The 10K, 5K and Kids Marathon are an out-and-back along the shores of the Strait of Juan de Fuca. Frequent sightings of seals, eagles, and an array of shore birds are common from the trail. Iconic trestle bridges provide beautiful back drops. Salmon can be seen spawning at the Morse Creek crossing in the fall. The North Olympic Discovery Marathon is truly one of the most beautiful marathon venues anywhere. This rails to trails course is a wide, hard surface (99% paved) trail. The course is marked at every mile and water stations are located approximately every two miles. Cool June weather can be expected – average high is 65F, average low is 49F, average mean is 57F. The race is organized by the Port Angeles Marathon Association – a group of accomplished amateur athletes. The Marathon is a USATF certified course and a Boston Marathon qualifier.

  • Peninsula College Pirate Golf Tournament

    The annual Pirate Golf Tournament is held in late May or early June and is hosted by Cedars at Dungeness Golf Course. It is a scramble format tournament and is commonly the second largest fund raising event for Peninsula College athletic scholarships.

    The evening starts with a cocktail hour with games, drinks, and an ohSnap! Photobooth. The program for the evening features a plated dinner, a dessert dash, a costume contest, and a live auction!

  • Olympic Medical Center Hog Wild

    Hog Wild will continue to include games where attendees can win prizes, but several other performers have been added to the schedule, including five who have performed in Circus or Teatro Zinzanni – the highly popular event in Seattle. It will also feature a showing of the movie Casablanca.

  • 12th Annual Dove House Benefit Golf Tournament

    Proceeds from this annual event go directly to Dove House clients in Jefferson County. Funds purchase support for creating safety plans, housing assistance, transportation, ​child care, and emergency housing, food and other necessities.

    2023 NPBA Builders Cup Thank you to all of the Sponsors that helped make this tournament a Huge Success and to all of the players that came out to play this year! We had a record number of teams for this year's tournament with 22 teams playing. 1st Place and Tournament Winners went to PNW MAC Painting Inc. 2nd Place was taken by All Weather Heating and Cooling Team. 3rd Place went to Olympic Peninsula Stone and 4th went to Kevin Russell Construction!

    OLYMPIC MEDICAL CENTER FOUNDATION PRESENTS HARVEST OF HOPE Olympic Medical Center Foundation will host the annual Harvest of Hope Wine & Dinner Gala, presented by Sound Community Bank, at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 28th, 2024 at the Guy Cole Event Center in Sequim. ​ The 22nd annual gala will once again raise funds for local cancer patients being treated at Olympic Medical Cancer Center through the provision of services, programs and equipment. ​ Doors open at 5 p.m. and dinner will be served at 5:45 p.m. Attendees will have an opportunity to help raise funds through the purchase of raffle tickets or live and silent auction items.

    The Dungeness Crab & Seafood Festival is the annual celebration of the region’s diverse bounty – the seafood, the maritime and cultural traditions and the breathtaking coastal environment. The Festival’s featured crustacean, the Dungeness Crab, was named after the village of Dungeness, near Port Angeles, Washington. The Festival is located at the Port Angeles City Pier and the Red Lion Hotel overlooking the Strait of Juan de Fuca, with Victoria, British Columbia just a ferry ride away.
